So you are being conned when they claim that you can get these results from Google.

You can spilt test 'till the cows come home but with no results to start with what do you test? What do you change? How long can you afford to lose money?

The question I have is this..."Do the Gurus know their techniques don't work for the average Joe or not?" You see, if they do then they are deliberately lying and ripping you off, if they don't then they are just plain stupid.

In any program, ebook, ecourse, software bundel etc there will be about 5% who will make money by stumbling on the right combination of keywords, landing pages/sales page and google ads. This does not make the program a success. If they had a 30% - 60% success rate then they have something worthwhile. Any of them out there not charging >$5,000 to get started? Not that I have seen yet. That is the purpose of this blog, when I crack the techniques they will be posted here for free.

BrentPersonal Opinionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17689903663022525515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13585355.post-75584976249579139732007-03-26T13:06:00.000+09:302007-03-26T13:06:00.000+09:30G'Day keri_23062, the point I was attempting to ma...G'Day keri_23062, the point I was attempting to make is that "if" Chris is making $1,000,000 a year from this niche I should be able to make a couple of sales using a reasonably targetted ad. I got 20% CTR for a number of keywords but still made no sales. Saturation makes no difference, Chris (or anyone else) will never get all the clicks even of they get 80% there is still 20% left over.

Thanks for your comment.

BrentPersonal Opinionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17689903663022525515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13585355.post-22264307245448973152007-03-21T11:02:00.000+10:302007-03-21T11:02:00.000+10:30make $20 per sale, you'll need to send 1,000 peopl...make $20 per sale, you'll need to send 1,000 people per day to get $200 per day.

it will cost you $100 to $200 per day to get the sales

Sounds like there's money in there to me. You gave some swag, but I see up to $100 per day of profit in your example.

Also, if you listen to the "gurus", they make it clear that any ole schmuck can spend a hundred bucks to make a hundred bucks, but to be a pro, you need to know how to drive the ratios in your favor. Learn to get a higher CTR and higher conversion ratio by split testing over and over. Keep improving your ads and your copy to get better performance. That's where your profit is!

Where can you get traffic for 1/10th of the Google click?
www.miva.com?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14261253365782225594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13585355.post-35089538214845994592007-03-21T10:51:00.000+10:302007-03-21T10:51:00.000+10:30and that was on the market that Chris says he make...and that was on the market that Chris says he makes
$1,000,000 per year from.

If he's really making that much money, then he probably has the market saturated, and you're wasting your time trying to compete with a pro. You should try a different niche. :-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14261253365782225594noreply@blogger.com
